I Scream,You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream!!

We read a story about a little boy that petitioned for his city park to stay open later... We decided we could petition and make a change. Together with Mrs. Doyle's class we petitioned our lunchroom to have the option to buy Ice Cream an extra day a week! We met with them today and they agreed!! The kids had so much and  were so excited about this!

Jack Hartmann!! What a rock star!!

The kids danced and danced today at the Jack Hartmann concert! We all had so much fun!

Penguins!!

They are loving using the iPad's today to research information about penguins! The conversations are great.. Such a fun project.

We are 100 days smarter!!

We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school!! We painted,snacked, and built a structure out of 100 cups!! Check out some of the fun!!

December was a blast!!

We had so much fun this Christmas.. We had grinch activities and other Christmas fun! It has been one of the best Christmases!!

Fun Friday!

We had an awesome Friday today at school! We met an author that was so funny. His name was Chester Drawers:)We also put on a play in the classroom. The students enjoyed the play so much. They also laughed and laughed at Chester. Check out some pics from today!

Starting Second Grade 2014!!!

We have had a great start! These kids are awesome.., I can't wait to see what all we can learn and do this year! We started our first day with some "Jitter juice". The kids loved it and it got all those jitters out of the way so we can hit this year head on! We are so exited about the 2014-2015 school year!!
